Headteacher Update

Subject: Update on Parent and Student Apps/Accounts

 

Dear Parents,

 

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to update you on the issues we have encountered this term with Bromcom/MCAS and Gateway/ParentPay. Thank you for your patience while we worked through these glitches. I am now confident that we have identified where the errors were and have resolved the majority of them. If you are still experiencing any issues logging into your accounts, please get in touch.

 

Parental Apps/Accounts

  • MyChildAtSchool (MCAS): Access student timetables, behaviour points, and attendance. (Payments will be activated at a later date.)

  • ParentPay (via School Gateway): Use this to add funds to and check your child’s school dinner account.

Student Apps/Accounts

  • MCAS: Available through the MCAS portal or app. Students can view timetables, homework tasks, behaviour points, attendance, and more.

  • SPARX: Maths homework. Account details will be provided by the class teacher.

  • Tassomai: Science (and other subjects) homework. Account details will be provided by the class teacher.

Afterschool Clubs
The programme for afterschool provision will be shared this week (if it hasn’t already been sent). Two late buses run every Tuesday and Thursday. These are currently free of charge, but as communicated last year, any donations towards their running costs are greatly appreciated. The service costs in excess of £25,000 per year to operate.

Students have continued to build on the positive start made to this academic year, and I am looking forward to the upcoming open events where I am confident that many more young people will make the choice to join us at Treviglas.
