CELEBRATES STUDENT SUCCESSES ON GCSE RESULTS DAY 2024
Treviglas Academy is delighted to report another year of outstanding GCSE results, with students once again on track to surpass the National Average. The 2024 cohort has achieved top grades across the curriculum and demonstrated positive progress compared to their peers across the county and country.
Headteacher Mr. James Rogers expressed his pride in the students' accomplishments, stating, "I am absolutely thrilled with this year’s results and want to congratulate every one of our students. These moments are so special and a culmination of the hard work of our students and support of their teachers and families.”
Mr. Rogers continued, "In a year where there have been significant changes and improvements across the whole school, it is great to have another set of results that reflects the other amazing accomplishments that our students achieve over the year.”
Students achieved remarkable results across a broad range of subjects, including Drama, English, Further Maths French, Spanish, History, Geography, and Physics.
A significant number of Treviglas Academy students earned the prestigious Grade 9, a distinction awarded to the top 2% of students nationally.
Madeleine achieved an impressive EIGHT Grade 9s in Maths, English Language, English Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Drama and History. She also achieved a grade 8 in French - An extraordinary achievement.
Rhys Simmonds achieved an incredible 229 out of a possible 240 marks in his maths exams, giving him the top grade 9.
